Hatch And Fry Tier Lists
Rank livestock and gamepasses by how fast they fill plates.
Hatch And Fry is a production tycoon, not a PvP fighter. A useful tier list therefore ranks what prints plates per minute, not what looks rare in a thumbnail. This hub splits the meta into three lists you will actually use: animals for hatch results, meals for what hits the fire, and gamepasses for Robux. Both assume a live Roblox save with offline cooking enabled — the game is released, not a demo.
How we rank
Criteria, in order:
- Throughput — does this animal or pass shorten the hatch → meat → grill → customer chain?
- Uptime — does it keep paying while you are in another app (offline growth/cook)?
- Badge progress — does it help Served 10 / 100 / 500 / 1000 on the badges page?
- Cost — cash or Robux spent versus minutes saved in the first hour.
We do not invent hidden drop percentages. Official thumbnails show chickens, cattle, buffalo, and dinosaur-tier hatches; until Lemon’s Projects publishes odds, rarity talk stays qualitative.
Quick ranks (September 2026)
Livestock (early kitchen)
- S — High-yield grill animals you can actually process this session (cattle and buffalo shown as steak lines in official art).
- A — Chickens and other small livestock that hatch fast and keep the grill from idling.
- B — Novelty or slow growers (dinosaur-scale hatches look amazing, but only if you can finish the cook chain).
- C — Pets you cannot process yet because the kitchen is still unlocking stations.
Full notes: animal tier list. What those animals become on the iron: meals. Roster flavor: animals.
Gamepasses
- S — 2x Cash (199 Robux) if you play daily; Auto Collect (79) if you AFK.
- A — 2x Cookspeed (129); 2x Customer Eat Speed (119) when diners are the bottleneck.
- B — VIP (249) as a bundle once you know you will stay.
- C — Tip Jar (15) and Golden Jar (50) as support/cosmetic-style spends.

How to use the lists in a real session
- Redeem RELEASE so the first ranking decision has extra cash behind it.
- Hatch cheap, fast animals until the grill is never empty — hatch guide.
- Only then chase flashy hatches. A blue dinosaur in a nest does not beat a row of steaks if the grill is idle.
- Re-read this hub after the Big Update. New cook stations can flip A and S overnight.
What this hub will not do
We will not publish a fake S–F grid of 40 unnamed species. When the in-game index grows, the animal list gets the names and this hub gets the ranks. Until then, rank roles (fast hatch, bulk meat, showpiece) instead of invented Latin names.
For play-by-play spending, continue with how to make money and Getting Started.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Hatch And Fry players.
What is S-tier in Hatch And Fry?
Anything that keeps meat on the grill and customers eating. Cattle/buffalo-style livestock and 2x Cash or Auto Collect, depending on how you play.
Are dinosaur hatches the best?
They are the showpiece in official art. They only rank S if you can process and cook them. Early kitchens should prefer faster farm animals.
Do codes change the tier list?
RELEASE is a cash boost, not a new animal. It lets you buy the next S-tier unlock sooner. See codes.
How often is this list updated?
After patches on the updates hub, especially the September Big Update.
